Overview

Sorghum is an important cereal crop grown in harsh environments where other crops do not grow well. In developed countries, and now in developing countries, the predominant use of sorghum is as fodder for poultry and cattle. Sorghum remains a principal source of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals in poorer parts of the world. Crofft has been shown to increase yields by significantly increasing the number of grains per panicle increasing profit.
